Book Description

March 10, 1982
A handbook resulting from many years of specialized research in experimental drawing. The author pretested various sets of perceptual cues with over 300 children and adolescents in order to determine the stimulus and diagnostic value of the individual perceptual cues. Statistical findings and subsequent consultations resulted in the selection of nine cues that suggest high content variability and tap different emotional variables. Presents the information necessary for the administration, scoring, interpretation, and subsequent report writing of the Pikunas Graphoscopic Scale (PGS) III, a revision of PGS I and II. This manual demonstrates its usefulness as a major psychodiagnostic tool for the assessment of several personality dimensions, including functional aspects of intelligence, ways of self-expression, and adjustment. Colored pencils and paper used in testing accompany the manual. Useful for researchers, students, and instructors in the field of psychology, especially personality and intelligence testing.
