5.0 out of 5 stars A little dry but..., March 18, 2000

A little dry but that is the nature of the beast isn't it? Great book on a subject that has very little information available. You need this book if you are working with particle size in any way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guide on Sieve Analysis, May 21, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Manual on Test Sieving Methods (Astm Manual Series) (Paperback)
Many users of sieves are not getting good results and they don't know it. In addition, the results from the sieve analysis are treated as being absolutely true when sieves are subject to menay sources of error. This book gives all of the dos and don't involved in performing a sieve analysis and in interpreting the results. Anyone using sieve analysis needs to study this book to make sure they understand how to get reasonable results and to make sure they don't assign more "truth" to the sieve analysis results than is deserved.
