Este libro es una joya para el que le gusta encontrar en la lectura un sentido a ese camino espiritual que llevamos a cabo a traves de nuestra vida cotidiana.

Valores como el amor por todas las cosas, la disciplina, el compañerismo, el aprender a escuchar nuestro propio corazon son las armas con que este guerrero que defiende y enfrenta las batallas que le son asignadas en su crecimiento personal y en la defensa de la luz.

A parte de ser un libro con un mensaje profundo tiene la propiedad de que puede ser usado como oraculo o tema de meditacion diario. Cada una de sus paginas mantiene el sentido completo de la obra pero a su vez cada una es unica e independiente, lo que permite leerlo de corrido o noche a noche encontrando un mensaje diferente, para degustar y pensar.

Paulo Coelho es un escritor que puede reflejar claramente como los seres humanos manejamos nuestra naturaleza de seres espirituales en este mundo material.

This is a great book to meditate on, especially in these times of economic turmoil. Many lessons found in Eastern Religion, and in general philosophy. Nicely aggregated. One of the best things I have read in years.

When you feel like the world is becoming menacing and that you have lost contact with the inner you, then just try this manual. It will bring up to the surface the warrior of light we all hide inside.

It teaches us that making mistakes is only human and reminds us of the treasures of nature that can fill our lives with beauty.

This is an amazing book like most books of Coelho and I highly recommend it because it will change your perspective towards life and it might offer you that inner peace you really long for.

Es uno de esos libros que por donde lo abras siempre encuentras algo interesante y bastante inspirador que leer.

Interesantes Historias tanto para empezar o terminar un dia cargado de buenas o malas energias. Como de costumbre Coelho nos pone a pensar.. Gracias!!!

This is an easy reading book that motivates you to ponder and think after each page of so much practical wisdom. A book that I would like to share with all my children. Has it been translated into English?

I have read it all and keep going back to it any time, open any page and enjoy and savor the wisdom all over again.

The book is really a manual; it is very short only took me two hours to read the entire book. It seems to be very repetative and it does not tell a story. I would not reccomend this book.

I enjoy Paulo Coelho books, this one is a little bit different though. I am accustomed to his prose and the way he can tell stories and introduce wisdom in his narration, there was no story in this case, I missed that, instead I got a ton of wisdom, for which you have to really focus and read several times some parts of the book so that you do not miss an important piece. I made lots of notes, and highlights on the book, since there were so many that really touch me and awoke nice feelings that I forgot they were there.

I have not finished to read the book, but I am satisfied with what I have seen.

Paulo Coelho gives an interesting presentation of a group of aphorisms best suited for young men going out to "conquer the world." He has placed his wisdoms into the context of a young man learning to hear the truth amidst a haze of sound. He presents in short form a code of chivalry for the modern youth. He draws on a mystical framework for presenting ideas from Christian, Moslem, Hindu, and Buddist philosophies. In sum he presents more Eastern than Western ideology. His definition of a "guerrero de la luz' comes most clearly on page 100 when he says that a guerrero de la luz is a person who makes mistakes, asks questions, and because he continues to seek meaning to his life, he will eventually find it. On page 149, he further presents that the end does not justify the means because there are no ends. We do not know from where we came or to where we will go, so only the means are important. I read this in the Spanish edition, which preserves the beauty of the language. The Spanish is easy to read and is suitable for a young reader.
