Gail Reichlin is an internationally recognized and respected expert in the Early Childhood field. She is a dynamic, sought after keynote speaker with a unique interactive style regardless of the size of her audience. Well known for her wit and wisdom, Gail incorporates humor and real-life stories into her positive discipline presentations, offering parents and teachers better ways in which to communicate with children of all ages. She is a 42-year veteran preschool teacher/consultant & the founding executive director of The Parents Resource Network, a Chicago-based, non-profit organization providing parenting support and education for more than 27 years. Gail was the early childhood consultant to Sesame Workshop in creating the best selling toilet learning DVD called "Elmo's Potty Time". She is an adviser to many other early childhood programs and projects. Gail is a freelance writer on family issues and the co-author of "The Pocket Parent," a popular guide with 170,000 copies in print. Her practical advice is making its way around the world--having already been translated into Braille and 15 foreign languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Serbian, Russian, Hungarian, 3 Chinese dialects, Indonesian, Czechoslovakian, Korean, Polish, Romanian and Turkish. Gail appears frequently on TV, radio, and in print and has been interviewed by Deborah Norville for The Sunday Today Show. Parenting Magazine, Scholastic's Parent & Child Magazine, Redbook and many other publications have featured her practical parenting tips and positive discipline strategies. She was also selected as a national spokesperson for Procter and Gamble's Pampers Institute where Gail, along with actress Marlee Matlin, endorsed an innovative potty training kit at the Toddler National Convention in New York City. She continues to engage countless parents and teachers across the country at her frequent workshops and presentations. She speaks Spanish and enjoys designing many teacher trainings and parenting programs in Spanish. She lives in Skokie, IL and is the proud mother of 3 grown children...and the adoring grandmother of 6 1/2-year-old Noah and 4-year-old Talia.
