I had the opportunity to review "MANUAL PARA PADRES." (the Spanish translation of "The Pocket Parent") I showed it to one of our Spanish speaking parent educators, a mother of two, and she said it was just the type of book she needs. In reviewing the chapters, I found the book very user friendly, and easy to read. I think parents will find the question and answer sections at the beginning of the chapters, as well as the vignettes, very helpful. Often, our Latino parents struggle to find helpful parenting resources in Spanish. This book is a wonderful resource for them. I will be sure to recommend it to the parents we serve.
