Book Description

July 24, 2004

A hard-hitting, ruthlessly honest political biography of Sen. John F. Kerry that will expose the real views of and dig up all the dirt on the 2004 Democratic nominee for president.

In Prince Albert, he dethroned Al Gore. Now, David N. Bossie, former chief investigator for Congress, is going after John Kerry and giving every conscientious voter a chance to see the truth about this year's Democratic candidate. Using his trademark in-depth investigating, Bossie gives readers the real scoop on the presidential challenger-fully exposing Kerry's peculiar voting record; early Naval discharge (so he could protest the Vietnam War); self-contradictory positions on such vital issues as health care, education, and campaign finance; and shady political dealings he'd rather voters not know about. With an exclusive jailhouse interview with former Kerry finance chairman, David Bossie has the insider's access and the hard-nosed investigator's savvy to ferret out the truth and present it to readers in a gripping, no-nonsense style. He lays bare Kerry's flip-flops, lies, and duplicitous stances on the war in Iraq, defense spending, tax cuts, Medicare, and corporate greed and corruption-finally unveiling all of Kerry's public and private faces.

4.0 out of 5 stars An accurate description of John Kerry, August 6, 2004
This review is from: The Many Faces of John Kerry (Hardcover)
The democrats seem to have an uncanny ability to create Myths out of less than even ordinary people, side step the truth and hope you will find out when it is way too late.

John Kerry was not the legendary hero that some have described him to be. The people that have served with him have even called him a liar. So much for his hero days in the service!

But what about Kerry being absent for 90% of his votes? How can we take this guy seriously? A lot more than Kerry's inflated military background is being questioned here.

And listening to Kerry speak recently make us all wonder if Kerry is really tuned in to the current economy or if he is still living in the Jimmy Carter years.

And isn't it funny how the democrats cheer for the Bush-bashing books that came out early this year, write and rewrite endless reviews giving flaming 5 star reviews and then distorting the numbers with high votes but when a accurate, well researched book like this one or the ones about Al Gore or Bill Clinton come out, they call it hyprocisy or even sacriligous.

I think it's time that these people realize that there are a lot of skeletons in the democrats closets. Kerry, like Gore and Clinton before him, is no hero and has made a lot of mistakes. The American public has a right to know about this man before they cast their vote.

I applaud David Bossie for a well researched book and for setting the record straight on Sen. Kerry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate and honest..., July 26, 2004

Matt Tucker (Boston, MA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Many Faces of John Kerry (Hardcover)
As a voter in Massachusetts, I have grown very familiar with John Kerry as my senator. As an avid reader, I was eager to read the various books that came out covering his run for President, including the one he wrote himself. Of all the books, this one best portrays John Kerry as the voters of Massachusetts have come to know him. It is fair and honest about Kerry to its very core. This book, unlike most others, does not make Kerry out as being the legendary hero...nor does it tear him apart as a villain. It presents the voter with a fair, unbiased view of his life and history in politics. It simply sets the record straight. Those who claim it is biased against Kerry are those who do not want all the facts given to voters. If you want to know the facts about John Kerry so you can form your own opinion as a voter, pick up this book and read. You will not find a more accurate, more truthful, or more politically neutral portrayal of Kerry anywhere else on the book market.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very revealing on Mr. Flip-Flop, August 6, 2004
This review is from: The Many Faces of John Kerry (Hardcover)
I started to become skeptical about Kerry when he suddenly pulled ahead of then front runner Howard Dean. That was validated on CNBC when I was watching a special about Howard Dean's rapid rise and fall and the Dean committee said; "I can't believe Kerry did this! How unethical!"

Kerry really didn't impress me that much in his debates. Not that his competition was much better. Kerry is a flip-flopper. He even supports a .50c/gal gas tax and wants to again tax capital gains and dividend interest on stocks, something that will affect the middle class. No doubt, Kerry will try to roll back the generous 401 (k) and IRA increases and ma keup provisions that Pres. Bush signed in a few years back to help everyone provide for a better retirement.

Of course, Kerry doesn't have to worry about his retirement. Aside from his enormous wealth, he also get's a million dollar retirement plan that he n ever had to pay a dime into not to mention $140,000 per year as a senator even though he fails to show up for 90% of his votes. I wish I could get paid for doing nothing!

This book reveals all of John Kerry's prior misdoings, double standards and flat out lies. I really trust Kerry too much before and I trust him even less now.
