I consider the 60s episodes superior to the 70s shows that have been released. I know the 70s have Adam West and Bruce Ward as voice talent, but the 70s shows were too corny. Plus, the 60s shows were very reflective of the Batman series at that time. Catwoman is even in her short-lived green catsuit! It's bad enought the 60s live action show isn't on DVD, but at least the animated series should be.

This series is so much fun to watch and brings back so many memories! Batman, Robin, Batgirl Commissioner Gordon and even a goofy Chief O'Hara!(in some episodes) They're all here, saving the streets of Gotham City from Batman's well-know arch enemies. The Joker, Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler and more. This light-hearted, original cartoon version of the Caped Crusader's escapades is a must have for any true Batman fan. The only drawback is that all the episode are only available for download through Amazon / itunes, but have yet to be sold on DVD...I'm sure a DVD version is soon to come!

These are great recordings...uncut and great quality. Where's the DVD set for this and all the other Filmation cartoons like the 67 & 68 Supermans, Fantastic Voyage, Journey to the Center of the Earth, etc. Another one I'd like to see is Where's Huddles. It was a short one but great cartoon. Paul Lynde did great voice work in it along with Perils of Penelope. Another one that I watched as a kid is Super 6. There's sooooooo many out there that's NOT released that were wonderful cartoons!!!

I remember watching the Batman/Superman Hour when I was in 1st Grade. I LOVED it then and I STILL do! I JUST wish that it would come out on DVD or Blue-ray with the Superman cartoons that went with it in the B/S Hour. It's a pain watching it on the computer. These are TOTALLY uncut...how can I tell...I watched the old video from the 80's and I watched the Superman/Batman Adventures on Boomerang and both were cut. These cartoons had everything back ACCEPT for the Batman/Superman Hour beginning which I'd LOVE to see again. PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE...bring them onto DVD ASAP as well as Season 2 and 3 of Superman from 1967 & 1968, the Superboys from those periods, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Fantastic Voyage, etc. That's when cartoons were GREAT!

This comes very close to the live action 60's version of Batman starring Burt Ward and Adam West it's actually like an animated version of that particular Batman series in many respects. The West/Ward Batman series currently isn't available on DVD or Amazon instant video but this animated version makes a decent hold over until it eventually does come out on home video once some of these issues are worked out.

The classic 1960s Filmation Batman show I watched in syndication growing up-- uncut, with its original titles and music track intact! Ted Knight was a genius!

After discovering that the original Filmation batman series is available on download, i just had to get two episodes. From the ones i am seeing, they are great and really far better than the remake with that batmite from the seventies. My only issue is when are the folks who own these gems going to put this whole series on DVD. They are far better than the ones from the seventies and are more realistic to the TV series that came about before. Even if were to come out on the DVD demand, id have it in a new york heartbeat.
