Many Kisses is a collection of erotic short stories that center on one of the most taboo subjects: BDSM. The stories are no-holds-barred explicit and sensual to the max, but they also show a side to D/s relationships that few stories and novels show -- the side in which love, respect and trust play a major role in such an obscure, tantalizing lifestyle. There was also a great deal of humor in some of the stories. These are love stories with an erotic twist. Susie Santiago is quite a talented author. My favorite stories are "Do What You Love," and "To the Glove." Those are the two stories I found the most delectable. Do you want to add a smidgen of bondage to your lovemaking or are you curious about BDSM in general? I suggest you give Many Kisses a whirl.

The desire and craving set up through these stories is astonishing. Love, loss, jealousy, humor, submission and wild fantasies, it's all here. I found this quite different from Indigo's Oysters book, but just as beautifully written and original as the rest of her work. Its a brilliant job of weaving pleasure and pain and emotional depth all together into one work.

A gorgeous book, I've never read stories like some of these-To the Glove, The Snow Palace, Do What You Love and a few more. They were hot enough to melt anything down under, and really smart and brave. Recommended to anyone loving BDSM writing.

Wow, this was great reading. Some of it's wildly dirty and some of it's really sad and touching. Highly recommended!

Santiago/Indigo has written some stunning stories about the desire for BDSM/submission/dominance. The final story in this book stands alone and above everything else normally of the genre, something called "The Reinvention of Velvet" that is sf/fantasy/slipstream about a little girl searching for her "Daddy" and being used by other men in the process, traveling through loss and love and ending up......well, you really have to read it! This book is an inspiration both on the sexual side and the creative side of life.

This is a very beautiful book - you start with the woman on the cover, leaning up against the bars, or is she chained to them in some way? When even the cover of a book is mysterious, you know you're in for a unique treat. Is there really an angel of f*ck? A land of kink? Women who become 'escorts' as little girls? Who want to be pigs? Yet throughout the entire book, you somehow know it is all true, emotionally and passionately, and thus it gets at the truth of submission and dominance in a real-life and amazing way that transcends the ordinary genre of BDSM 'fiction'.

This book is remarkable for what it has - high class writing that is totally down and dirty, yet it's full of passion and emotion and lust and craving. Some of the less dirty stories are very powerful, with nothing more than the truth of submission to them. Great book, highly recommended.

A cross between the fairy tales of Anne Rice and the complexity of mainstream literary writing, these stories deliver heat, desire, longing, and most importantly an incredible emotional truth about the desire for submission. Some of the stories are light, some are much darker, but all of them are quite sexy and honest and like nothing you've quite ever read before.

I recommend this book to anyone into D/S, the stories are hot and fascinating, and not like ordinary tie-me-up stories. Even the fantasies seem real, and the Velvet story is simply an amazing piece of writing.

I really loved this book. As a woman, it spoke to every kinky urge I've ever had, and made it all seem more or less okay. Santiago has a very original voice, because nothing in here is like other S/M books I've read - this one seems a little more real-life like, like if I dropped in on her real life some of this may just be true. Very sexy, very interesting, highly recommended
