This is a book that teaches children about adjectives in the English language. It goes beyond the obvious in adjectives to cover the demonstrative and possessive adjectives in our language. A must have for foreign language teachers who wish to sneak in some English grammar in a cute, fun way, elementary school teachers, English teachers teaching the parts of speech, parents wanting to educate their children in a fun way!

Nice, bright, creative illustrations. Great book to base an adjective lesson on in elementary school. The book explains all types of adjectives: proper, demonstrative, predicate, possessives, articles, superlatives. Also helpful for parents who want to help their kids who are having trouble learning about adjectives.

this is the greatest book. you don't even know you are learning. my grandson (4) loved the book. I first brought it to him as a library book and because he loved it so much I purchased it. By week end he was reading some of the pages and telling everyone all about it. I will be looking for more for christmas for him

This is an excellent series - so don't stop with the purchase of one title. Go for the entire series! The language concepts are well-presented, the alliterations are lovely, and the illustrations are engaging. Whether you use these books in your classrooms, or with your own children, I hope you enjoy these books as much as I have!

I remember reading this book when I was a kid. So many memories. The artwork is gorgeous, and the lessons are very memorable. If you want to teach your kids how to use adjectives in a fun, creative way. This is one book that will help. :)

This is a great learning book for young ones - colors, shapes and most of all adjectives! It helps fuel a lot of good questions about comparing and contrasting.
