As an academic with interests in how to integrate the study of theology and literature, I found this text to be a solid, simple introduction to World Religions for my students to utilize in their writing. It provides a basic overview and explanation of many religious practices and how they influence and are weaved into the societal fabric of both ancient and, modern times. This publication also offers a refreshing glimpse of how women and their roles play into these beliefs. I found it to be a nice reference and provided my students a wider perspective, thus enhancing their writing.
