5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Gloves, December 24, 2008
I'm a professional photographer and it's difficult for me to keep my hands warm while shooting outdoors. Thick gloves are warm but makes it impossible to operate the cameras. What I need are fingerless gloves but most don't keep my hands warm and believe me, I've gone through a lot of gloves. Several years ago a friend recommended I buy a version of these for a project I was working on. I loved them and have used them when it's cold ever since. I purchased these for my son and liked them so well I purchased a pair for myself. These are thicker and water proof where my previous pair wasn't.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very warm and comfortable, but a bit tight, April 5, 2010

I purchased two pairs of these glove/mittens (one medium and one large) for my husband, who was looking for a pair with the waterproof feature. He has owned several pairs of convertible glove/mittens and says that these are his favorites, except for one thing. Apparently they're a bit tight (he's wearing the large, although his hands are not particularly big) - and, due to poor hand circulation, the tightness causes his hands to get cold if he wears them too long. I'm not sure whether that means the gloves run small or if they're all a bit narrower than what he's used to. In any case, they may not be ideal with someone with poor circulation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Manzella Men's Convertible Mittens, August 24, 2010
These gloves are top of the line. I wore these during a trip to Iowa and Nebraska during the winter months. Wind chills at the time were between NEGATIVE TWELVE (-12) and NEGATIVE TWENTY-THREE (-23) Fahrenheit and my hands stayed warm until I converted them to gloves (exposing my fingers) and then everything but my fingers stayed warm! With in a minute of converting them back to mittens, my fingers were toasty! When converting the gloves/mittens is simple with the built in magnets in the mitten and back of the glove. It is strong enough to hold the mitten out of the way, but not making it difficult to convert back.

The only draw back to these gloves/mittens is taking them off. The part of the glove that exposes your fingers are surrounded by elastic and the removal can be difficult. But this is a small inconvenience compared to the comfort and versatility of these gloves/mittens! A GREAT BUY!!
