The touch tips work well.

The one problem I see developing with them already is that the silver threaded tips are starting to frey a little bit at the ends.

I ordered these to use as base gloves under my big snowboarding gloves when I go out for a weekend. I wanted to be able to adjust my music, make calls, and send texts while still having some kind of gloves on. These work just as advertised. They are lighweight and tight fitting, which is what you need for a glove with which you are going to be using a small phone or mp3 player. And they are actually fairly warm, considering how thin they are. Perfect for a cool day, but probably too light for an all purpose winter glove. Great for use as a base layer or glove liner. The one problem I see developing with them already is that the silver threaded tips are starting to frey a little bit at the ends. It doesn't seem to affect the use of them, and hopefully it will not get much worse. Be careful not to run those across velcro.

These gloves are the first pair I have ever purchased with the touch screen tips.

I will start with the overall glove. They were easy and silky to put on. Very comfortable on first grab. I like the snug cuff because the glove will stay under my coat cuff and not ride up like other gloves. The palms have little rubber grips on them - I chose this model because of the grips. They were tiny and didn't quite do the job. I need them for driving and for walking my dogs, so I have some grip. I would have been better off with suede palmed gloves because these gloves even slipped on my rubber and clean steering wheel.

Fair warning, these are lighter gloves. They are still cold on the tops of your hands in even light wind.

Design-wise, very poor. The seems on the insides of the fingers were too thick and rubbed uncomfortably. The left thumb on the pair I received was twisted so the silver tip would be pointing up if my palms were down. Only half of my thumb pad touched the intended target, and the seem was unbearable.

Lastly, the silver touch screen tips themselves should be further up on the actual tip of the finger rather than the whole pad (fingerprint). It's more logical that many people use the tip of their fingers, but they put a seem and two different materials there. So you must adapt to the gloves unfortunately.

Would I buy them again or recommend them? Nope. As a matter of fact these were returned.

Manzella makes the best gloves, certainly. These are my favorite minimalist smart phone friendly gloves. Would be 5 stars but this is my third pair in 5 years. They wear with wear.

I used to hate taking my gloves off to change play lists on the Ipod. Now I can use the touch screen in comfort.
