A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-O-N Agression! rah rah Agression!, May 24, 1999

This review is from: Map Montior Surge (Audio CD)
Not to be missed by those who consider themselves better than sheep. Stark and brooding but as euro-rally drivers would say "Maximum Attack". A wonderful cap to a possibly truncated band, MM&S continues craw's sinister trend of making music that makes most metal bands sound like Hanson after a handful of secanol.
Quite possibly the only band to actually work the phrase "Brownian motion" into a song, and cheerishly indulge in the fitful depravity and paranoia that exist within even the most stable of us. "Days in the Gutter/Nights in the Gutter" is a howlingly beautiful anthem to this effect.
Craw is not for the easily frightened as there isn't one damn song that will make you think of a light from above. The chord progressions, rythm shifts, and recording ingenuity (a la Albini-san) have few peers.
