There's never going to be any question where the fire is when this monster electronic fire truck comes to the rescue. Powered with six C batteries (not included), this hefty red plastic vehicle can be programmed to follow a preset path just by drawing a route on a pressure-sensitive electronic pad located on top of the truck. Kids can use the plastic drawing stylus to chart a course and then watch the truck follow it exactly. The truck starts up and begins moving when the stylus is placed back in its holder. When you want to chart a new course, lift the electronic pad frame and the previous route is erased. Designed to be used indoors only, the truck can be adjusted to ride on either carpet or smooth floor, but it doesn't move in circles or reverse. --Marianne Painter

my daughter (yes four year old daughter)saw this and wanted it for Xmas. We picked it up (...) to play and see if it was a sure pick. After we figured out where the batteries went. We started it up. It did not come with any instructions!!! It made a siren sound and took off (very loud)driving with the driving motor sound. then stoped and made a siren sound again. This toy was just not for us, it was very noisy (that may be fine for you.) It felt very cheep and the rc pad could be broke easily.

I asked my brother how much he likes his fire truck he got for his birthday and he said it was a lot of fun he draws a map on it and makes it go like the drawing he made and i like to help him cause its fun to play with i am bigger so i can show him how to play with it right

SEEMS TO BE VERY STURDY, AND ENCOURAGES THINKING IN PLANNING OUT YOUR ROUTE. IS LOUD, BUT HEY, IT'S A FIRETRUCK. THE STYLUS SEEMS LIKE IT COULD BE A LITTLE MORE DURABLE, BUT WITH SOME CARE TO PUT IT IN IT'S PLACE, IT SHOULD BE JUST FINE.
