Full Size Maple Platform Bed with Drawers and Bookcase Headboard

I have been sleeping on my new bed for half a year now and love it. I purchased only the bed frame with drawers and bookcase. My only complaint has been debris, such as sawdust, falling into the drawers underneath. I think a solid surface instead of the slats for the mattress to lie on would have been better at preventing this problem. I have had no other complaints. I love the extra storage. Do-it-yourselfers be aware; the carpenter I hired to put the bed together for me said it was a jigsaw puzzle. He brought a buddy to help him out, which is good because I doubt a single person could put it together. Took them 4 hours to complete.

Can we say, disappointed!

It claims "Quality Laminated Composite Wood" Can I say, not even close! It is the cheapest maple paper print I have even seen. Assembly was easy and almost all the parts were present. If my son did not like it so much I would have sent it back.
Small damage from shipment was on a none seen area, too bad! If it was visable I never would have started to build it.

Further the formaldehyde content, in case you don't know formaldehyde is a carcinogen, is extreme. The sweet smell of that toxin is still lingering around. I have been bathing the bed and head board in Ozone to help and terminate the smell and its toxin. Really should still have it degassing and not being used. I guess a good thing is NO BUGS!

My 14 daughter wanted a grown up room with enough space to hold all of her clothes. She is thrilled with her new bed, now she can't wait to paint and decorate according to her tastes.
