These little books are great to compliment geography programs or teaching geography through literature. I would not use for sole source of geography. They provide a great talking points. They cover enough information to fill any "gaps" that might exist in geography studies. This year, we are studying "Welcome to the Wide World of Geography: Physical World Geography." (Highly recommend. Well written, easy to use and interesting. A great pre-view for physical science.) However, the charts books are good to take along in the car, have self-check in the back, and are easy workbook work. They come in handy to introduce reading various maps and graphs.
