I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now. The most evident benefit, as others have noted, is that this product effectively shuts down the desire for snacking. To be more specific, I've noticed that it has shut down my desire for sugary foods and refined carbohydrates. When I have an urge for snacks, I have almost a repulsion toward high-fat, high sugar treats which is replaced by a desire for proteins and vegetables.

To that degree,and with mild excercise, I have lost 6lbs in 2 weeks.

Recovering from a stroke from 2 years ago, I have stroke nerve-pain, a very common issue for stroke survivors. To treat this, the doctor prescribed Lyrica, which has a serious weight gain side affect, and creates a desire toward snacking.

I've been looking for product to shut down that side affect, and reverse the 50 lb weight gain from the stroke and lyrica. Maquibest is doing it. I will be reordering for as long as it effective.

I have been taking Maqui berries for the past two years. I found that I have much more energy and feel less stress when I take them. I found these Maqui Best Berries and I was amazed at the ORAC value. 11,500 is MUCH higher then other berries....plus it is certified!

June 14, 2010 - It is now a week later and I am editing my post because Amazon only allows one review per customer.

THE RESULTS:

I must admit that I was in pain when I received my order. After taking the first serving, within hours the pain had been relieved. After about a week now, there is virtually no pain and I can sit comfortably in the car without hurting. This stuff works!and I feel 100x's better too!

The only way you can find out just like I did is to get a bottle for yourself and FEEL the difference!

Was told in ad that I would, could, lose up too 25 pounds in a 30 day period. Did not change diet, did encrease activity, gained 9 pounds. Will not re-order or recomend. Thanks for the cinnamon, but I can
buy it cheeper in the stores. This was a verified purchase thru Amazon for Maqui dietary supplement.

The time I've been taking these, I've had no changes at all to energy levels, metabolism, etc... Other reviewers had positive results with eating less, snacking less, or energy boosts, but I've had nothing like that. No energy level changes, no difference in appetite, nothing at all. I'll run it the last bit to the end of the bottle, but I won't be getting any more. The plus side is that it was only a mild ripoff since the price wasn't astronomical. I thought at least I could try at this price point to see if it was valid, or more snake oil like everything else saturating the market... Guess I know now.

Even though they include a certificate from a Lab, their ORAC value is about 10 times too high : Freeze dried Maqui Berry should have an ORAC value of around 92000 per 100 grams. Since these pills only contain 1.3 grams each, their ORAC value should be around 92000*1.3/100 = 1196. I could not find any explanation from their website for why their Maqui Berry has a 10x higher ORAC value than all others. Here is a report from the same lab of freeze dried Maqui Berry (the best form of Maqui Berry) that shows a total ORAC value of 784 per gram (or 78400 per 100 grams):

This berry seems to be the next big thing... 11,500 ORAC per seving, wow! That blows away the Acai berry or any other antioxidants that I've seen. Seems like a great bang for your buck.

Received the package quickly and saw that they included the certificate of analysis. Makes me feel better that it's actually been tested.

can't see where these give me energy and i'm not losing weight, will not buy again

This product has been great - fast shipping - even includes their certificate proving their ORAC value. If I'm taking something, it might as well provide as much ORAC value as it can, and there's nothing that provides more than Maqui Best.
