The PM-7000 has 95 watts per channel power output (into 8 ohms), featuring Marantz's unique Linear Drive Power Supply (LDPS), which operates as a constant voltage supply to effortlessly drive even exotic high-end loudspeakers that present difficult loads. Also included is an HDAM (High Definition Amplifier Module) fully discrete copper-shielded output stage for wide bandwidth, low noise and exceptional dynamic range. Symmetrical single push-pull amplifier topology provides maximum sonic purity and accurate imaging. The PM-7000's Source Direct switch bypasses the tone control circuitry for ultimate signal purity. A processor loop allows connection of a graphic equalizer or other audio processor.
