Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The PMD325 from Marantz Professional offers great versatility and reliability for music playback, background music, and other applications. In addition to playing CDs it will play finalized or unfinalized CD-R (write-once) and CD-RW (rewritable) discs, as well as MP3 files on CD-R/RW. The PMD325 with RS-232 eliminates barriers at every turn. This is the last CD player that should ever need to go into an installation, since MP3 files are here to stay.

Built for Installations
The PMD325 can receive AMX or Crestron compatible control signals via its rear panel RS-232C serial port or RC5 port. It also features a GPI port with fader start. It boasts XLR, optical, and coaxial digital (SPDIF) outputs, as well as balanced XLR analog outputs, enabling easy integration into professional A/V systems.

Legendary Marantz Professional Sound
Marantz Professional players are reknowned for their warmth and clarity, and the PMD325 is no exception. It provides rich bass and a wide sound stage.

Custom Background Music
One CD-R disc can hold a day's worth of music as MP3 files. Whether playing a CD, CD-R, CD-RW, or collection of MP3 files, the PMD325 provides a great way to navigate, manipulate, and playback music. While many DVD players also playback MP3 files, they are not designed to fully control how the music plays. The PMD325, however, provides single track play, random play, and timer play for both music CDs and MP3 files. Key Features For Both Audio CDs and MP3-CDs
