If you're looking for a simple stereo amp that can power a nice set of loudspeakers, this is the one.

One con is that the fans are pretty loud and seem to always be in overdrive. The fans should only kick in when the amp is putting out a lot of power and the fans are on even when there is no sound going through it at all.

One month in with light use, one channel went bad. Sound and power were surprisingly decent at first. And, of course the "return window has expired"

I dunno, I ordered one and it wouldn't power up, the protect lights came on and never went off. Had it replaced and the 2nd one powers up fine, but I have it connected two 2 4-ohm subs on an 8-ohm bridge in mono mode, and it distorts badly at a lower-than moderate level. I had the same subs connected in my car and they were really loud, no distortion even at the maximum level of that amplifier. In the current configuration I have it setup with a DOD active crossover, so there's no difference from that standpoint.
