A competitive runner since the age of 14, Dariusz Janczewski is a graphic designer, author, and musician. He is also an all-around distance runner, racing anything from cross-country, trail, to road races, and occasionally visiting the world of triathlon. After graduating from Ashland College (History) in 1989, and University of Cincinnati (Graphic Design) in 1999, he concentrated on road and trail running, publishing training journals, composing electronic music, and writing/illustrating children picture book.
Dariusz competed in several big-time marathons; his best showing so far being at the 1998 run of the Boston Marathon which he finished in 2 hours and 42 minutes. He recently finished the 2011 Missoula Marathon in 3 hrs and 20 min.
His books and training Journals are a result of an experienced athlete and a professional graphic designer and illustrator. Since 1999, Dariusz resides in Missoula, Montana and is a father of two twin sons: Billy and Danny.
