can we say fantastic?, June 30, 2005
This review is from: Marathon (Audio CD)
marathon has got to be one of the greatest up and coming bands. The ir EP was raw and hurridly thrown together but this album is incredible. If you love punk rock that has a meaninging behind it these guys will giv eyou all you can handle. Melodic Punk Rock with a political edge. Every song is great, which is rare for most first albums a band puts out. Get it, you won't want to take it out of your CD player.

One of the best bands ever, September 30, 2008
This review is from: Marathon (Audio CD)
This release to me wasn't quite everything that the bands EP "songs to turn the tides" was, but they were so good they could afford to slip a little. Every song will have you wanting to sing along or dance uncontrollably. I think it is a really well rounded album with the few slower paced or acoustic songs and the majority being what one might expect to hear going off their previous release. I would highly recommend Marathon to anyone that likes political punk/hardcore music. They have the energy of Bad Religion or Anti-Flag (to make some general comparisons that most people should get), but in my opinion are more enjoyable to listen to.
