I had been shopping my local furniture stores in search of a cool counter height dining set for months. I had not found anything that came close to the elegant look of this set, especially for such a low price. After coming back to Amazon to look at this listing over and over again, I finally decided to order it. I had so many worries about purchasing furniture based only on how good it appeared in the online photos. Also, there were no customer reviews. I wondered if the chairs would be flimsy, cheaply made & scary to sit on? What if the table was wobbly? Would the granite top be less than impressive in real-life?... Well I'm very pleased to report that the answer to all of these questions is, emphatically, "NO!!" These pieces are heavy, sturdy, substantial and just absolutely gorgeous. It arrived just before Christmas, and so far all of our guests have raved about how awesome it is! I absolutely love my new dining room set AND I feel like I got a great deal. Thank you, Amazon! You Rock!!

This is an excellent table set and the price was the best price I found anywhere. You do put it together on your own. The table was very easy to assemble but be sure to have help; Very heavy! :) The only trouble I ran into was with the chairs. A few of them didn't go together quite right. Husband had to shave down the little piece used to connect the wood braces to the legs(not sure what they are called, small little wooden pieces)so that there was no gap. Two of the chairs a little wobbly as well. Also, sticker came on it that said Marble, not Granite.
I do love the set even with the little set back. It is very beautiful and worth every penny. I would recommend it to anyone who has patience to put it together.

The table and chairs are beautiful and exactly like the photograph.
Before the item was shipped to me, I received a phone call;
the table is Marble NOT Granite. After some deliberation, I purchased anyhow.
This will result in much higher maintenance and worry over the care of the table.
While I wish I had a granite top, the set is beautiful and I am glad to own it.

We like our table very much. Looked at similar ones but they were not able to find one that large size. The chairs are very comfortable.
Table took longer to deliver than indicted on the website but not overly long.
Happy we made the purchase.

I am very happy with this product. This heavy and sturdy table and chair. I like the classy look of the marble top and leather look chairs. The chairs are very comfortable. It took a while to assemble these items but well worth the time and effect in doing so. You need two people to turn the table upright after putting the legs on. Don't try and do it yourself since the table alone is around 200 pounds (thick marble top). I was disappointed with the shipping. My item stayed in Omaha NE. for 10 days before they headed west to Kearney. But this has nothing to do with the product. Just be prepared for a lengthy delivery on this item since It will go through a Moving and Storage company. I highly recommend this product and know you will be very satisfied with it.

We looked at this for a long time before deciding to buy it sight unseen. One thing we could not tell from the stock photographs was that the marble top is not a solid piece, but rather tiles that are contiguous. I might have balked if I had known, but after receiving the table, I am okay with that unexpected difference. My husband spent approximately 5-6 hours in total assembly. We do love the counter height for our condo as it allows a better view outside. The chairs are sturdy ; one required drilling new holes for the pegs as they were mismatched.
Overall for the discounted price, it was a very good deal.

I give this set 4 stars, but when you factor in the LOW price, it really deserves 5 stars.
Half of the chairs were "wobbly" when you have them put together, but that is an easy fix. There were a few small nicks in the wood of the table, but that could have very well been caused by us trying to get it flipped over after putting on the table legs- I can not emphasize enough that you need at least two STRONG people to assemble this table- it is heavy! Those nicks were easy to cover too.
Once all together, this table is beautiful and looks far more expensive than it's cost! The marble top is not a solid marble, but the it's variations in the tans, taupes, and browns makes this an easy piece to put with many decors.
The chairs are very comfortable and the table feels very spacious with a full family around it. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this dining set and 5 out of 8 chairs are SEVERELY crooked. It is impossible to assemble.
This is NOT worth the price you are paying for. It has been over 6 weeks since I purchased this product and still have not received any replacement. My warning to you: STAY AWAY!
