We just gave this to our 3 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!

The first time my son tried putting it together it did fall apart on him, but it was his design, not the product itself.

The pieces do NOT fit together well and the whole structure falls down when he it trying to build.

Was looking for a sturdy plastic marble run to buy my son for Christmas (he will be 4 in a month) and decided to purchase this one after reading the reviews. Great product, it's sturdy, made of hard plastic, fairly easy to put together, real marbles, and enough flippers and funnels to keep him entertained. The first time my son tried putting it together it did fall apart on him, but it was his design, not the product itself. After a few attempts he realized that he needed extra support on the bottom if he extended the run out. Rate very highly for it's educational value, cost, and durablility. Added note: The pieces were laying on the floor and he stepped on them...nothing broke.

Pieces are fairly sturdy, treat them right and they aren't that fragile. My son loves to run the marbles and watch them race through the track. Good toy, plenty of pieces to make a variety of runs. Overall a good choice.

My kids ages 7 and 4 put this together and within 20 minutes of looking at picture (they are included, but not all the parts to create them) they were having fun with this toy.

Highly recommended and entertaining. Will bring them hrs of joy.

We bought this product through a fund raiser at my 3 1/2 year old son's school. He LOVES it! He brings it out everyday and he and his father build a different route each day. Endless possibilities! It really promotes thinking skills as he designs, builds, and tests each route.

Although the set came with a variety of pieces...plenty for a starter set, finding extension sets for it has been difficult. I do wish there were different additions and accessories for it.

I highly recommend the product and would buy it again without hesitation.

I bought this for my son when he was 2. He is now 10 and he STILL gets these out to create and play with the numerous ways to make the marbles go faster. I am now going to buy a second one for my neice. I hope she loves it as much as my son.
A must buy for all kids.

We have an old version of this toy for our grandchildren and they love it. We wanted to get a replacement. However, this version is cheaply made and we returned it. It will not be durable enough for children to play, Additionally, the fit and design are insufficient. Don't buy this product.

I bought this marble run for my niece and nephew for Christmas in 2009, who were 2 1/2 and 4 years old at the time. They both absolutely loved it and were highly entertained by putting the marbles in the top and watching them go down and shoot out the bottom and spin all over the wood floor. It's a great toy in concept but it has a few things that only make it 4 stars instead of 5 for me: It is not easy to put together a "good run", even for an adult. You have to think of a strategy as some of the pieces are deadends and so the marble will not go through, making this run a better toy for older kids who can put it together themselves. Another thing is that the pieces are plastic and once you start building the run higher, it starts to teeter and can topple over very easily. You have to treat it gingerly once you have it assembled so it doesn't fall apart. I spent a good deal of time trying to design a good run that would be sturdy. The kids got a little impatient waiting for me. But at the end of the day, it is a very entertaining toy and they have experienced much joy in playing with it, despite its few "flaws". I would recommemnd it.

We purchased this marble run for our pre-school classroom. Children love marble runs and they are great for developing minds. The children were very excited to play with it when it arrived. Unfortunately, putting this together is very frustrating. The parts do not stay together when you push to secure them. In fact, typically, the entire run splits apart making one have to start from the beginning. The children were unable to put it together themselves so the teachers had a go. We are capable adults and although we got it together a couple of times, it took very little pressure (such as a child much apply when putting the marble into the top)for the marble run to a)tip over b)split in half or c) both. And don't even think about moving it once you have gotten it together. There were lots of tears whilst trying to complete this project (mostly children...). We even considered superglueing it together so that at least the children could play with it.

After another attempt at using it today, I am really considering tossing it.

There are so many good Marble Run brands out there. Do not waste your money on this one.
