Your really get pulled into the world of the Penguins. I cheered, bit my nails with worry and even shed a tear. After watching the movie, we wanted to know more about the penguins. Luckily, the extras were just as good as the movie itself.

Rebeccasreads highly recommends MARCH OF THE PENGUINS, the companion book to that glorious movie.
Open to page one & catch a glimpse of that snowy desolation, courtesy of Jerome Maison's exquisite photography, turn the page & meet the stars of this monumental endeavor, & follow Jordan Roberts' narration as the Penguins begin their very long walk (& slide) to their nesting ground a hundred miles inland. Marvel, once again, at the colors of these gentle & determined creatures, at the immense conditions under which the mamas & papas struggle to keep their eggs warm, waiting in the frigid winter, for the Sun to return, for that first cheep, that first crack. MARCH OF THE PENGUINS will resonate with children & adults alike, creating a lifetime of endearing family memories |
