4.0 out of 5 stars Only if you have Part 1
Only get this if you have part one and want to complete the set. The first track, "march of the pigs" is right off the album, so now you're down to only 2 tracks. "Underneath the skin" is an insturmental of reptile that's about seven minutes and thirty seconds long. At times you won't be able to tell what part of the song you're listening to but...

3.0 out of 5 stars A welcome, but not essential, addition to any NIN collection
If you are buying this import, chances are good that you already have the LP version of "March of the Pigs" and are more interested in the other two tracks, so I'll get right to it:

Only get this if you have part one and want to complete the set. The first track, "march of the pigs" is right off the album, so now you're down to only 2 tracks. "Underneath the skin" is an insturmental of reptile that's about seven minutes and thirty seconds long. At times you won't be able to tell what part of the song you're listening to but then you'll find yourself because the insturmental stays pretty much true to the song all the way out. The last track "reptilian" is a standard remix of the song for the Downward spiral/ Further downward spiral era, it's nothing extraordinary but it is highly enjoyable. If you're trying to decide between this and the 5 track version I recomend getting this because of the extra tracks, neat little c.d case and because of the sound quality.

"reptilian" is a decent remix of "reptile"...not exactly earth shattering, but good as usual, with some cool delay and stereo effects at the end.

"underneath the skin" is another remix of "reptile", this time mostly instrumental. The quality is similar to "reptilian".. Good as usual, but not exceptional.

Overall, I would say that this single is more for hardcore NIN fans and collectors looking to find all of Trent's tracks. Most casual NIN fans wouldn't find this one worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Collector's Item, April 25, 2005

If you can find any copies of the March of the Pigs singles, they are definitely worth picking up. Underneath the Skin and Reptilian are both very good remixes in addition to the LP version of March of the Pigs. This is a quality single since the three tracks run about 18 minutes long. Not much else can be said, except that this is a rare find.

Look for it if you're a collector.

This part 2 of 2, March of the Pigs was a chance find when I was about 16 or 17 at a local new and used record store that is now out of business. When I found it I already had part 1but couldn't justify spending $12 on a used CD with only three songs. Six months ago I began to try to complete my collection and, for nastalgia, I began with this. It now goes to twice the price stated above if not more. It's fairly rare and has the three track the other reviews cover. I'm a fan and collector, so I'm biased but I enjoy the whole disc, which does have some weak points. The first track is easily recognizable from The Downward Spiral. The second and third tracks, which I think are so-so, are typical of the singles that had been put out during those years. I do agree with the other reviewers, though, in that unless you're a collector already owning part one you may want to skip this disc unless you can find a good price. And the longer you wait the higher the cost and higher the work of finding it. I missed my chance as a late teen. I didn't pass my 2nd chance up when it rolled around.
