Product Description

March Seal-less Pump - High TemperatureOne of the best tools youll buy for home brewing, this high-resistant pump works great for wort or hot liquor transfer. A must for serious home brewers.Seal-less Magnetic Drive 1/25 hp pumpIncludes 6-ft. power cord1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings on both inlet and outletHandles temperatures up to 250 F and internal pressures to 5 psiPumps a maximum of 6 gallons per minutesSingle phase motor is fan cooledNote: Running the pump dry can damage the unit. Because this pump is not self-priming, we recommend placing the pump below the level of the liquid source, and in a dry location as the housing is not waterproof. To restrict flow place a ball valve on the out-flow of this pump. Blichmann QuickConnectors are highly recommended. Do not cross threads when attaching the fittings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brewing Pump March 1, 2012
Verified Purchase
Excellent little pump. Bought this to supplement our homebrewing operation and it performs beautifully. Powerful and high flow rate made this a great addition for us. The only down side is that it is not sealed so you have to watch spilling anything on it. Also, since it's not self-priming, you have to make sure to put it below your liquid. Other than that, awesome pump for the price.

This is the little punp that could (and can). If you are looking for a small home brewery pump, there are cheaper options. Do yourself a favor and get the real deal. You wont regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pump it up December 3, 2012
While not a long term review, I can say that this pump has met my needs so far after two homebrewing sessions. It's pumping my strike water from my kettle to my mash tun and then helping to recirc (whirlpool chill) and then transfer to the carboy. A+++
