The man was constitutionally incapable of arranging or composing a bad note, so when we spied these two little-known early- 60s albums in the Warner Brothers catalog (most of Mancini s releases were on RCA), we grabbed em. If you have a Hank-ering like we did to hear the master try his unfailingly melodic hand at this martially-themed material, don t miss these they re definitely not in lockstep with other collections of the kind!
