This review is from: Marching to the Drums: Eyewitness Accounts of War from the Kabul Massacre to the Siege of Mafikeng (Hardcover)
I totally enjoyed this book from front to back. The accounts run smoothley and without interference from the author, breifly before each eyewitness there is a detaled explanation of the campaign involved.all acounts have been taken from an old british magazine so im pretty sure most have not been reprintd in book form before.true accounts from the indian mutiny, maori wars, opium wars, ashanti war, abissinia crimea zulu war and more...totally recomended!!!!Marching to the Drums: Eyewitness Accounts of War from the Charge of the Light Brigade to the Siege of Ladysmith
