Just getting started on a weight routine? Turn to the Marcy MD2080 weight bench combo, which includes everything you need to perform basic bench presses, shoulder presses, curls, leg extensions, and more. It?s a terrific way to strengthen upper and lower body muscle groups, burn calories, lose weight, tone and define muscles, and increase overall strength and stamina. The MD2080 is equipped with an adjustable bench with a five-position back pad, so you can perform flat bench presses and incline presses at shallow or steep angles, depending on your preference. The weights consist of a standard-size weight bar, two spring retaining clips, two 25-pound weight plates, and two 15-pound weight plates, creating a total resistance of 80 pounds--a good starter weight. And you can isolate your quads, hamstrings, and glutes using the total leg developer, which includes a center weight post for resistance.

The MD2080 is made to last, with a 1.25-by-1.25-inch heavy-duty steel tube frame and a durable powder-coated finish. The back and seat pads, meanwhile, are constructed of high-density rolled upholstery that covers top-grade, high-density foam. The MD2080--which supports up to 200 pounds on the bar supports and 300 pounds overall--carries a two-year limited warranty.

Would not be fun when lifting very heavy weight.
ReGameItDotCom
To add on, the barbell is very short (less than 4feet), which makes it hard to place it back on the placeholders of the bench.
Richard
Other than expecting a new product and getting a used one, it's not too bad for him.

I got this bench yesterday and used the heck out of it, even the leg attachment is good. The bar that comes with it is way to small so think of upgrading to a longer bar and quick probably costing another fifty bucks to the price. One of the weight had minor rip damage but didn't effect the weight just the plastic coating, so no biggy, the screws were scattered throughout the box but I got lucky and none fell out through the various holes in the box which there were a few. This item requires two crescent wrenches so you know, I had one and a large needle nose which worked with minimal stripping while tightening, The bench looks very appealing and after using it I am very happy with it, perfect for flyes, bent over rows, bench press is awkard with such a small bar and some tricky hand movements once bar is lifted for me to get the position I want, I put the first plate on the bar and it just flipped off so careful when placing on weights it's a balancing trick. Great first bench is my opinion, I almost went pro when I was younger and this bench is way nicer than the one I started with before moving up to a TDS bench for three hundred bucks, which was all welded. Word to the wise though is be expecting to miss bolts I think it's a fifty fifty chance, so set up might not be possible once bench is received, but if you don't mind waiting for replacements again this is a great little bench for the buck. Just don't wabble on it too much, keep in mind this is a machine an care must be taken for users own safety.

the lifting bar is too short.Everytime you bench press the wieght plates hit the frame.I measured the length and the bar is only 47.5 inches long. You would need about 5ft or 6ft long bar to work properly.

Basically, I've only had this bench press for 7 months and it has already broke. The support beam from where you lay has been detached from the welding that is connected to the joists that holds the barbell. Basically, the bench press toppled over and almost injured me. Luckily enough, I was able to catch it and it only grazed the skin on my wrist. The bench press is made up of a hollow interior, which makes it a weak support. Don't be fooled by its look. The weights that come with this bench press is cheap quality. It is made up of cement inside and covered with cheap plastic. The barbell isn't even made up of heavy metal. Weight of the barbell is so light it feels like a tree branch that you can get off from your front yard. If you add weight to it from one end of the barbell, the barbell is so light that the uneven weight coming from the other side will cause inbalance which causes it to flip over. To add on, the barbell is very short (less than 4feet), which makes it hard to place it back on the placeholders of the bench. Don't buy this product. If you want to invest in a good quality bench press, please buy a bench press that is made up of steel with solid interior. It will save you from making the same mistake I did and could potentially save you from dying...

it was a good weight set but didn't knew it was that small. Wish it could have been a little bigger. Set up was simple, does help me with my exercise routine, and the price was alright.

Bench not recommended for adults. It might be fine if you are under 5'7'' and are not planing to lift much weight. The bar is completely useless for benching anything. I think they could have spent another dollar and imported a slightly larger bar from their Chinese suppliers. If it wasn't for the ridiculous bar I could give 3 stars for the value.

Good set and is working well for me. Was easy to assemble. Didn't pay much attention to the weight plates that come with it when I ordered and have had to purchase others as well... wasn't expecting that the 80 lbs it comes with is 2x 25 lbs and 2x15 lbs.
