I purchased the Marcy SB-410 for my 18 year old godson and his 18 and 19 year old friends. I've been coaching them with weightlifting for years. They needed a tougher exercise for their abs, but we didn't have a lot of room in our home gym. The Marcy bench was perfect. It took only 10 minutes to put together, it's light weight so you can move it out of the way. It's also convertable--from an incline crunch board to a stable bench. So, after the boys do their abs, they can stay in place, raise the bench in 2 seconds and do concentration curls from the same spot. It's solid, affordable, arrived in 3 days and I didn't pay for shipping. I couldn't have asked for a better purchase.

I bought the Marcy Ab bench because of its low price tag. First I must say that I was delighted by the quick shipping. It arrived in two days. Secondly, I want to talk about assembly. It wasn't much of a problem at first. I had to tap one of the screw holes in the base because it had been stripped out. Not a real problem. I also had to add a spacer on the "locking knob" that holds the leg pegs on the at the bottom because it too had different threads than the bolt. (It would not tighten even halfway.) After all that the bench was assembled and ready for use. Now I am only 5'8" and it seems to me that the bench part might have done better to be 3 or 4 inches longer, but doing the exercises was good enough to make my abs sore the next day and that is what counts. It is what it is but worth what I paid for it.

The bench works very well for simple and angled crunches. It was a bit more difficult to assemble than we expected, taking two competent adults about 45 minutes.

This is a great little bench! Setup took about 15 minutes. The instructions were clear and each part easily identified. It feels really sturdy and has a nice decline position. The small problem I had is that it came with some silver stickers reading "SB410" that were peeling and flaking which takes away from the looks. Looks didnt really play a big part in my purchase anyway though. I would definitely recommend it. Actually one of my buddies tried to buy it off me already! No my brother, you gots to get your own!

I got this crunch board for sixty dollars and free shipping. It is everything you would expect from a crunch board. The board is perfectly long enough, and I'm 6'1". You don't lie back on the board when you do crunches anyways. It actually looks very professional and, very handily, can be put flat for a general workout surface. The only problem I had was that a nut was missing from the packaging, but I simply brought the nut-less bolt down to the local hardware store and bought a nut for about 50 cents. Assembly was easy, I did it myself in about half an hour. For the record, almost all of the product is some sort of metal, not reinforced plastic. This thing was built to last.

If you are looking for a crunch board or even just for a good workout bench, this is the product to buy. It's cheap, it's sturdy, and it's effective.

I bought this after reviewing many ab machines when my ab lounge 2 went kaput. I thought I got decent results from it until I tried this!

It was easier than I thought it would be to put together. I put it together in 25 minutes by myself. The only time I had help was when I needed a second hand to hold the wrench tight while I screwed. All of the included hardware is labeled individually which was nice.

I have used it everyday since I got it 3 days ago and I have been sore ever since. So I know it's going to work! I was never this sore when I worked out on my ab lounge.

I am an average size woman that has had 2 c-sections so I am hoping this will do the trick. I can't imagine it not working.

The only con is that it doesn't come with an exercise manual for the equipment. I would like to have a suggested routine. I would also like to know if there is a way to work the obliques. What is the best way to place your arms? I looked this up on the manufacturer's site but the item couldn't be found.

Extremely quick shipping. I needed something to help me drop this 30 pounds of extra weight. Being a short guy (5'7"), the crunch board was perfectly fit for my body. If you are taller than me, you may want to look around for something more fitting to your size ...

The adjustable decline, as is, doesn't decline quite enough for a sweat-inducing workout. No big deal - I just placed a few 2"-thick boards under the front bar to the height and angle I desired ...

Bottom line: It is well worth the money, and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Great workout bench for the price. Well constructed and easy to build. Also has convenient place for storage of dumbell weights and two positions for crunches. Only wish the board area was a little longer but overall good product.

Took about 20 minutes for me to assemble.You might need a hammer for one of the parts that doesn't just slide right in.All in all great ab workout bench,and if you have a bad back,you can raise the bench to level it off.It's pretty awesome and worth every cent I paid for.
