The Flying Wheelchair is the story of Mareena Maree Mulligan, an abandoned Orphan diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Tears from the betrayal of a friend reveal a secret button on her electric wheelchair, installed by the angels. She pushes the button and her chair is transformed into a flying machine. A window appears in the roof of the orphanage. She flies to heaven, and meets Jesus in a secret garden. Jesus comforts her and reveals that she will receive assignments. Her first assignment is to be a friend, but she has to discover who that person will be.
About the Author
The author is a retired teacher. She enjoys her grandchildren and gardening. She has worked with Special Needs children and knows God has a plan for their lives. She desires wholesome reading materials for pre-teens and teen-agers. Her retirement years will continue to be filled with writing the adventures of Mareena and her assignments.
