I was looking for a Pepperidge Farm stuffing recipe and came across several glowing reviews of something called the Pepperidge Farm Cookbook by the founder of Pepperidge Farms, Margaret Rudkin. It is probably THE most amazing cookbook I've ever read. Part history, part food, part the story of Pepperidge Farms, and recipes that you will not find anywhere else. Margaret, evidently, collected antique cookbooks and spends the entire last chapter on excerpts from these books! It's one amazing cookbook - something you should treat yourselves to!

The Margaret Rudkin cook book isn't just a cook book. It includes a biographical sketch of our family history in County Carlow Ireland.I give a copy to all of our children on their wedding day to keep the memories alive. Chuck Rudkin |
