This book is about 10 year old Margaret who goes on a 14 day adventure around Colorado with her family. The family trip goes to the best historic and landmark sites of Colorado. But her little brother Zack is a pest! Margaret takes readers on a delightful adventure with her family as they visit the Garden of the gods, the Royal gorge, Mesa Verde, they pan for gold and other great Colorado destinations.

Margaret's teacher, gives Margaret and "A" for sharing her journal with the class.

This book is laid out well with a map which we followed as Margaret & family set out for a new destination each day. I'd thought of planning a trip out west with the grandkids. I think I'd take this book & follow the route.

Beautiful photographs with fun cartoons added.
