More About the Author

Welcome to my amazon page! I hope you will browse my list of books. Almost all of my books are available for your Kindle, so load up your Kindle with lots of good reading! If you like mystery, thriller or romantic suspense, you've come to the right place.

Most of my novels have something to do with the sea. I grew up near the ocean and my love of the ocean was born when I was a child. When I was a little girl I remember sitting on the shore and watching the waves and contemplating what was beyond. I could do that for hours.

One of the things my husband and I enjoy is sailing. In the summer we basically move aboard our 34' sailboat aptly named - Mystery.

Both my husband Rik and I have achieved the rank of Senior Navigator, the highest rank possible in CPS. The U.S. sister organization is the U.S.P.S. My Senior Navigator diploma hangs proudly on my office wall.
What this all means is that I know how to use a sextant and can 'theoretically' find my way home by looking at the stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars an excellent mystery, June 25, 2000
Linda Hall is truly a gifted mystery writer. Margaret returns to her family home to escape a failing marriage and emptiness after her daughter's death. However, instead of a haven, she finds that she must come face to face with her sister's mysterious death twenty-five years before. Her estranged family of aunts, uncles, and cousins all seem to be keeping secrets from her, as do the retarded man and his crazy mother who live next door. On top of this, Margaret also comes across a one-hundred-year-old legend that includes a curse on her house and a ghost who walks the beach at night. Before Margaret can find her peace, she must find her answers. Did her sister die accidentally, as she had been lead to believe? Is her house cursed? Who has been watching her and why? Did God desert her when her daughter died? Hall is excellent at writing multilayered mysteries, and Margaret's Peace is no exception. I could not put it down.

This book was a page turner. I stayed up late several nights, unable to put it down! Suspensful and intrigueing. Great story about the loss of faith and the search for inner peace in the midst of turmoil and hidden family secrets. Linda is vivid in her details of scenery and people. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great mystery.

Margaret's Peace is a compelling tale of both suspense and the inner journey of a woman to find the meaning of love in her life and the faith to sustain that love. It is truly a page-turner and I highly recommend it to you.
