This card works well under Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and even XP! I used it with several notebook computers for output VCD, DVD or MPEG videos to TV. Since it's a hardware based decoder, the image quality and video performance is excellent. It reduces the CPU usage to about 5%! Compare that to the 60 to 95% CPU usage of a software-based DVD decoder like PowerDVD or WinDVD. Having the lower CPU usage allows me to work on other CPU-intensive applications at the same time while watching a movie. It is a great addition to any PC card enabled notebook computer.
