This review is from: On the Margins of Citizenship: Intellectual Disability and Civil Rights in Twentieth-Century America (Kindle Edition)
This book is extremely reader friendly. It is an easy, interesting, and extremely informative read. I bought it to use as a supplement to a class I am taking on disabilities in graduate school right now, and it follows along quite well. The information is backed up with good sources and presented in a way that anyone from the layman to a doctor could find something useful in it. I would highly recommend this text to anyone wishing to understand the history and reality of disability.
