Maria Jose really impress me. The CD is full of energy, features of other artist and the sad song that cannot be forgotten. She did a great job on her first full music CD, but we are always going to remember her from KABAH! Great job Marijosa.

Needless to say that she was part of one of the most important pop group of last years. It is time to evolve. And this is the answer to that. Maria José's album is not only a pop music album but a impressive production and an agressive response to make her own way, alone. The first single, "¿Quién eres tú?" is powereful, rich and above all pretty well singed. Maybe you could think that she has a common voice in pop music but nothing is more far away from the truth. Last Friday I went to see her in Zacatlán, a small place in northern Puebla, México. Only thing I can say is What a voice! Specially on her next two singles "¿Dónde está?" and "Me equivoqué". I love opera and lieder and altough she has not a voice to sing those music of course, (she needs years to do that), she impressed me with her quality. You can notice that she studies. Well, maybe you could say that this album if for young people, but I, at my 34 years old, enjoy it. Well ballanced, impressive production and rhytms plus a wondeful voice puts this record among the bests of the last years in pop music in Spanish.

Primer Cd de Maria José en cual demuestra que tiene la voz y el talento para llegar muy lejos, 100% recomendable.

Mariajose now is succesful thanks to her cover poppy and easy listening songs, but in 2007 she released her debut album as a solo album, it was unsuccesful obviously because is a really great and (for mexican market) innovative.

Is an album with two parts... one is really danceable with electropop and rnbpop songs like MAS DE TI which opens the album, is an powerfull song rnbpop very rapper and sexy, obviouslu addictive.
In that kin of sound we'll find QUIEN ERES TU which is an ok song, and YA TE DIJE ADIOS,DETRAS DE TUS PALABRAS, NO SOY YO, ITS A PARTY and HABLA MENOS, all of them are simply great !!! with a lot of collaborations of rapper mostly unknown, very sexies and danceable songs !!!

I have to confess that i do not like the ballads that mexican mainstream do in this times but in this albums almost all of the are great, they are called ME EQUIVOQUÉ and QUEDATE CERCA (All of them beautiful and nice)

The only son i do not like is ¿DONDE ESTÁ?, BUT IN FACt, all the album is really great !!!! you definitly have to give it a vhance and know the real powerfull and cheerful MARIA JOSÉ

Hello! A bilingual duet between Maria Jose and Trey SOngz wake up Kallejeros! Maria Jose aka La Josa's CD is really good and the best part about her first album is that she doesn't sound like anyone else. Instead of releasing a CD with a bunch of well sung ballads and slow songs (which she can do VERY WELL), something that Yuridia has already proved success in, she released a CD with a mix of pop, R & B, rock, and hip-hop. Take it as if you are listening to Fergie en español. It is amazing that her producer, Aureo Baqueiro (who began in the 80's writing songs for Timbiriche, and has produced for Ha-Ash, Lu, Alejandro Fernandez and Sin Bandera) can write and make music almost as good as or even better than the popular songs heard here in the U.S. However, it is a shame that U.S. Spanglish stations such as LA KALLE ignored her first single, "¿Quién eres tú?" being that the song is a biligual duet between La Josa and R&B artist, Trey Songz. The song is also immensely catchy.

This CD deserves to be checked out, and if Paty Cantu is doing well with her solo debut, Maria Jose's second CD, has to be an explosion in the US.

I bought MARIAJOSE's music CD mostly out of curiosity. She is one of the members of my favorite music group KABAH. At first listen this could be a generic music CD with factory cookie-cut songs. But after carefully hearing the full CD, you realize this is a well balanced powerhouse of styles and rhythms. Well balanced with dance, pop, and beautiful balads. With all honesty the best songs are the slow balads like DONDE ESTA? and ME EQUIVOQUE. But if you are looking for pop-dance Kabah like songs then you will find MAS DE TI, QUIEN ERES TU a good choice. Overall this CD shows an artist willing to take risks with a good array of songs and styles. Take a chance and enjoy!

I do not know this singer at all. I watched a photograph of CD jacket and bought it.
Her songs seem to be a popular style recently.
However, it was not my preference. Because there was not a thing to be impressed by.
But it may be popular with youths.
