If you love Maria by Carlos this needs to be in your rotation. How do you improve a great song? You play with it in the studio, times five. Five slightly different versions of the same song. Never monotonous, always inventive in its presentation, this disc shines. Great post production work to rework the master recording. Standout versions include Wyclefs remixes that are more club based in sound with electronica elements to further entice the listener. Great stuff, if you can't get enough of "Maria, Maria" this is definitlyfor you.

Definition of a GREAT SONG -> A hot beat, easy lyrics to sing to, and an artist who can sing, put that all together and there you go. This is going to be one of those summer songs. You know what i'm talking about, one of those songs that bring you back to that particular summer and say DAMN, that's my song. Anyway, another roll down the window and blast the radio jams.

This is already a great song, but what really stands out on this maxi-single are the awesome remixes. The remixes on here are faster and more techno influenced than the original, and song more like awesome dance songs than hip hop. Buy this if you already love Maria Maria, and just want to hear a few new takes on it.
