If you love MC which i DO!This is a have to have!

As a BIG MC fan , this book is very detailed & chronicled the rise to fame of Mariah - her struggles & all the hard work she put into in every album. She is really a genius & a very gutsy lady yet very gentle. It would be so hard to find an artist as dedicated to his/her music as Mariah. Nobody does it like Mariah ... always imitated - never duplicated ! I'm going to give this book as gift to my friends in the music industry ... a very insightful & inspiring book. A must-read to everyone who wants to succeed & stay on the music business & be part of world history! Go Mariah !

This book had correct information and lots of useful content. The author researched Mariah very nicely and presented her in a positive way. He included pictures of mariah, a chronology, a discongraphy and awards. I would recommend this book to any Mariah Carey fan. I am Mariah's biggest fan, meaning I have read just about everything on Mariah and between all of the books about Mariah Carey, this was one of my favourites.

This book is almost an exact replica of the previous book by Chris Nickson "Mariah Carey- her story". There was very little new information. Plus, most of his research is just magazine articles that most die-hard fans (like me) already own. There weren't any exclusive pictures, no actual quotes from Mariah about the book, nothing that made it any more spectacular than a scrapbook made by a fan (which would have probably been more interesting). This book is better for someone who is not a huge fan, but would like to learn some things about her and her life. I think many fans who have been loyal from day one could have gotten together to write a better book.

If you have read his first book about mariah it is basically the same until the last few pages. But still a great book for dedicated Mariah fans like me!

When i think of Mariah, I heer the bells in my head. She ain't foolin around when she says I gott get some love. Yea, she is the top and the book will tell you that. I love to chew some good gum when I read about her. She make me want to pop my gum.

I have to admit, when I first picked up this book and started to read it, I didn't like it. The first seven chapters were basically the same as Mr. Nicksons other biography on Mariah! But as I read it, I found myself liking it more and more. Not only does the author have a detailed update, but he's added bits and pieces to the other chapters, which actually makes the book more interesting. This book is a must for any fan of Mariah.

Mariah Carey is a wounderful beutiful woman. turned into and on the #1 charts. and this book is wounderful by Chris Nickson and his 1st book on Mraih is a "fantasy"

I've always admired mariah's music talent as a whole and remember reading this book 5 years ago from the school library and learned more about how she puts together songs and how she collaborated with songwriters. I think this book is a useful tool for those who wonder what it takes to get into the music industry, pre-american idol and reality show days.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK,IT GIVES LOTS OF INFO ABOUT MARIAH, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THERE WERE MORE PICTURES OF THE BRILLIANT DIVA THOUGH! I AM VERY GLAD THAT I BOUGHT IT.
