These are the best tasting pitted plums !! I have tried some others, including Sunkist. The Sunkist plums tasted fine, but were very dry and somewhat hard. Mariani plums plus are juicy and sweet.
I actually thought I would never like dried plums and just tried them on a whim. Miriani was the first brand I tried, and I loved them. But I had a hard time finding them locally, so I tried other brands. They do not come close to these. Finding them on Amazon made me very happy. Don't worry about 12 bags being too many to order at one time. They are so good that you will probably eat more than the "5 a day" usually recommended !

For starters, these prunes are american-grown. that means a lot to me. Further, they are the most delicious prunes I can ever remember eating, and the degree of moistness and solidity are perfect.

And, surprise, I didn't realize til the box came, that they are fortified with A B6 B12 C and E. Of course, they naturally have high fiber, potassium and iron, so just THINK about how self-righteous I can feel while eating them!

Great price, too... compare them in the store and you'll see.... anyway with a dozen bags, you will have them when the urge strikes. Heck, who remembers to pick up PRUNES? at the market?

The drawback? For me, I have a problem with them tasting SO GOOD that I want to keep eating and eating them, and I expect MOST of you reading this, know what THAT can lead to! I you don't knw, well let's say prunes are Mother Nature's cure for constipation. Enough said. So, like alcohol, consume in moderation or pay the price.

Delightful morsel of taste. And . . might I add, the perfect source for continued good health. I opened my package as soon as it was delivered and enjoyed the delicious taste. These are a daily addition to my list of vitamins. What more delightful way to boost your immune system than to enjoy these, at least 5, nuggets of health improvement. It should be a 'must have' on your things to be good to yourself, the natural way.
