5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Brilliant!
Marianne is a gifted speaker, in every sense of the word. I've probably listened to this tape 6 times in the last two weeks. She makes such a clear statement about what anger is, where it comes from, how to relate to it, and how and why to get from anger to forgivness.

If you want to understand anger, and behave as a master in relation to anger, I can't recommend this...

2.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BOTHER
THIS WAS NOT AT ALL WHAT I WAS EXPECTING; I WAS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO EXPLORE ANGER IN SITUATIONS THAT I COULD RELATE TO, BUT I WAS ASKED REPEATEDLY TO PRAY OR TURN OVER MY FEELINGS TO GOD. I WANTED A CLINICAL BOOK, NOT THEOLOGY; VERY DISAPPOINTING

5.0 out of 5 stars She struck a chord!, August 29, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Marianne Williamson on Dealing With Anger (Audio Cassette)
I have listened to many of Marianne's audiocassettes and read her books on many subjects, but I have referred to this particular subject more frequently than any other. Marianne has become one of my best friends and advisors, and when it comes to anger, it's hard enough to admit, let alone deal with. I can honestly say that through Marianne's work, my life has been forever changed and I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend anything by Marianne, but especially if you have difficulty in your life with anger, this is a must! I sincerely hope you find as much relief from her message as I have in the last several years. Best wishes!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rating for Marianne Williamson on Dealing with Anger........, September 9, 2001

This review is from: Marianne Williamson on Dealing With Anger (Audio Cassette)
Marianne Williamson with her audio-cassette book titled "Marianne Williamson on dealing with Anger : Dealing with Anger and Total Defenselessness" is a "down to earth" method of dealing with everday anger situations and how to employ positive thoughts and methods of controlling anger. She mentions anger is allright as long as the anger is CONTROLLED. I believe that this is the key to successfull anger management. Marianne shares personal experiences of past situations that are helpfull with different situations. Marianne also shares a positive messege on controling and managing anger. One such positive messege is that there isn't a need to add "fuel to the fire" where she explains how you can discredit yourself when converying a messge/conflict with the other person. I don't recall if Marianne shares this next thought: "control your anger, do not let anger control you".
I am pretty sure that I received this messege from Marianne's book. This statemnt refers to control and more to the point anger control. I have found this messege to be helpful in the work enviroment and personal life as well. I find that this messege on control is especially effective at the work enviroment. I strongly recommend this audio-cassette book to anyone dealing with anger and anger management!

5.0 out of 5 stars A true gem, March 14, 2003
This review is from: Marianne Williamson on Dealing With Anger (Audio Cassette)
Marrianne Williamson's work is both real and honest. Rather than couch things in a concepts that are alien or extremely religious, she talks to you about the realities of existing. Of how things will not always be easy, about how you will lose your way, and honestly how to see people clearly. Growth is messy, it's not neat, maturity is not easy, nor is spirtiuality delicate work, but with assistance from a tape like this you can see yourself clearly and how to bridge yourself from concept to human to spiritual being.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marianne is Today's Spiritual Force, September 7, 2007
This review is from: Marianne Williamson on Dealing With Anger (Audio Cassette)
I just wish she'd produce MORE. As always, Marianne takes a difficult spiritual topic such as anger and makes things simple and uplifting. She calls it like it is, using her own experiences (and failures) to assure one and all that we are the same. Pretending anger doesn't exist is not spiritual. She goes on to explain that it's not that we wouldn't have any negative emotion...it's that we wouldn't have any negative emotion that we are not willing to give up. Aaah. Relief!

Even if "Jesus" is a word that makes your bristle, you can't go wrong with Marianne's books or tapes. She recognizes that there are many paths and Jesus is just one (after all, she IS Jewish!) :)
