Son cortas historias de amores: eternos, negados, felices, tragicos, posibles e imposibles, sencillos o complicados. Todas estas historias narradas desde el punto de vista femenino; imposible no identificarte con una o varias de ellas. Realmente me encanto.

I've been following this author for some time now, and this is my favorite book. First, it has short stories that allow me to read one at a time in between chores of my busy schedule. And, second it has so many stories that are just like real life full of sentiment an d brightness.

Although it is a collection of stories, the women and men behind each story, tells a story of a neighbor, family member and/or yourself. You are captivated and you can relate to every emotion shared and cherised. I 'm so glad to have a writer like Angeles Mastretta, that can put your heart on paper.

Just more centered on the husbands. A few of these stories are moving, others are the typical Mastretta style which can become a tad boring after having read all her books. Still, good light reading, except for someone going through a separation or divorce, I guess.
