Not what I hoped for,

I wanted to buy a book that would help me apply makeup in different ways and give me some ideas for hairstyles. This was not the book. It is very helful in picking shades and colors for the makeup and the hair, but never gives examples or illustrations on application. I am already aware of the colors that match my skin tone and I am very happy with my hair color so I did not find this book to be very useful.
