Great magazine with all the fashion advise you'll need for the month, however I don't see how those prices are realistic for the average minimum wage worker like myself. I also think kindle subscription prices should be around. 50 or. 75¢ an issue. It seems unreasonable that you can pay $1. An issue for a year subscription of the hard copy and that includes publishing and mail costs but it is 1.99 for a version that is essentially less cost to them. I would like to see this revised oj the future :)

This magazine has high end products and seems a bit out of reach for the average reader; If that was ever the target audience! Marie Claire has me puzzled unless we are expected to dream big, throw caution to the wind and buy $1.000 wedges rather than pay the rent. All other magazines offer the online edition for free with a print subscription. However Marie Claire,is $7.99/magazine online - But I will say this....Thanks for being consistently high across the board!! And thank you for the incredible articles on women; that is something this magazine has always done very well.

For the more mature reader, this is the fashion magazine of choice...hand over fist above Seventeen and Glamour, etc. which I loved in my youth. I wanted to subscribe to something with wonderful color photos and lots of beauty and fashion ads to keep me posted on what's NEW and trending now since I feel so out of the "loop" without it. So, it's true I don't have an hourglass figure or wear makeup anymore...still, that's the me I still am, at least in my mind, lol. And Marie Claire serves up plenty of fashion and beauty!

Marie Claire is my favorite fashion magazine because of the fashion and the articles. They actually have interesting articles. I am not 20 yrs old anymore but I feel I can read this magazine and relate to it the same as younger women. Also, Project Runway is one of my favorite shows so I look forward to seeing them in the magazine. Actually I started reading Marie Claire because of it's affiliation with Project Runway.

I love this mag. It is not just for the 20's & 30's or under. It gives advice on clothes, makeup, current happenings in fashion, & features Project Runway designs! When I moved it seemed like forever for my mag to catch up with me. Nina on Project Runway is my favorite judge as she seems to tell it like it is now not 30 yrs ago. I too do not wear as much makeup now as I did in my younger yrs but it is fun to see all the current stuff available to use. I do do my nails, wear fashional clothes that I can afford (Alferd Dunner is my fav as I can get it at a store here on discount!;) } I am in my late 50's & teach school in the Bible belt but do not like old fashioned clothes or looks. As I said before this mag tells you what is current & doable for you at your age/

Unlike InStyle mag, Marie Claire is not created to show on the Kindle. It's basically a digital version of the magazine, not one optimized to run on the Kindle. In order to view the content, everything has to be zoomed. Wait on this until they create a version of the mag optimized to run on Android/Kindle devices.

I love the magazine and signed up for a monthly subscription after I received my Kindle as a gift. I just cancelled my subscription because it really does not make sense to pay more for a digital version. It should be the opposite!!!

Okay, I admit it. I got an exceptionally good deal on this magazine, but I never had time to read it until this month's issue with Katy Perry on the cover (January 2014). I thought if anything, I could cut pictures out for my vision board and toss the rest of the mag in recycling without reading "those boring articles".

Well, this magazine had me glued. I started reading Alicia Key's answers to 20 questions posed of her. It was interesting to read that she liked reading books by Paulo Coelho. After that I read an article about a woman choosing love over money, being in a relationship with a not so well off grad student, after growing up in a financially stable environment. (I thought magazines were just about shallow things so they can get advertisers to pay their bills.)

Then finally I got to the Katy Perry article. Wowowow! I had no idea she was so deep and spiritual. Tolle's Power of Now inspired one of her songs and she's into self-love and acceptance. Go Katy!

Now I definitely want to go to my back issues to see what other nuggets I possibly missed.
