5.0 out of 5 stars "Marijuana Medical Papers" speaks the truth, June 4, 2008
I actually read this book about 15 years ago and underlined it and made comments in the margin. Like with many great books we've all owned, this book grew legs and walked out of my house, I'm sure to be enjoyed by many more readers.

I ordered a new copy and just finished it. I am a Registered Nurse from California where medical marijuana was approved for use by the voters with Proposition 215. I have personally witnessed AIDS and chemotherapy patients' nausea relieved with a few tokes of marijuana and I am proud to be from the progressive state of California where the citizens are free to choose, with their physicians, the best medical care for them.

I appreciate the book very much because the medical benefits of marijuana are clearly spelled out in case after case without all the political hoopla that surrounds the issue today. And some of the anecdotes are amusing at times as well, particularly when a very straight-laced chemist tries a cannabis elixer concoction to experience the effects then writes all about it while under the influence.
