first I would like to say that I was looking at two marijuana books the cannabis cultivation and this book. I found that people were giving the former book good reviews but for some reasion new school indoor has no reviews. I bought them both to compair and I will say that they both have + and -s The new school book does have more detaled descriptions and pictures with a list of all the items you need to construct each grow setup. The latter has bref description and a more simple picture for each grow setup that I am not crazy about. I like the fact that Cannabis Cultication has a nice way of explaining some other things like organic cultivation and some other areas of the book are more detaled but I favor the marijuana new school book It only have 270 pages not 400 like the description says. But this book has more detaled step by step instructions.

This book has one of the best Hydroponics sections out there if you are looking to build a system. It covers all types of systems and has a parts list. The drawings are black and white but they are clear and work well. Anyone, no matter what your growing, would find the sections helpful. As for the rest of the book it is very well laid out. This book has parts lists and step by step instructions covering everything but may be lacking more detailed information than you are looking for. For example lights. It tells you what you need to know and what square foot area a certain wattage may cover and what types of lights to use but it is concise where I was looking to read about various lights etc. In a nutshell it tells you what to get to accomplish your goal without going into huge detail of every light on the market. That being said It is great book and doesn't leave you hanging at all, you don't really need another book unless you are looking for a description of every light on the market. It does have color photos but it is the style where the color images are in three sections of about 8 pages with various color photos mostly of plants but not the hydroponic systems that are line drawn elsewhere.

I have several grow books from the top growers in the industry and I just recieved this book and it was what I hoped for. It's a great book to fill in the blanks of the other books I have. This book covers the "how to" process for growing. I highly recommend this book.

This is a really good book if you are wanting to dedicate entire rooms to the art of growing. It's 272 pages and if you took all of the building intructions away you might get 90 out of it. Not for beginers or those who just want to have fun. Richard

70% of this book is about hydroponic cultivation. The inside pages are very cheap. Unlike the quality and abundance of knowledge given in "The Great Jorge's" - "Marijuana Horticulture...". Sorry Mr. Mowta......but it was my money. Aloha!

I decided to buy this book and take a chance on going against the reviews. I was wrong. This book is all about hydroponics and I was looking to learn more about soil growing. If you want to learn everything you can about different types of hydroponic set-ups then this is the book to get.
