Ed Rosenthal has once again put together a fun collection of bud from the world's breeders. A handy guide in the back lists breeders' contact info. Beautiful photos and kind descriptions left me wishing the author would be a bit more objective and probing, but still great eye candy!

I was impressed by the first two Bud books. So I bought the third as well. After doing so, I bought Jason King's books and visited with him some on the topic of 'strain reviews'. He told me that all the strains in the 3 Big Books of Buds were paid for and written by the seed breeders themselves. Yes, these were rated and reviewed by the creators of these strains and not reviewed by the man (Ed R.) himself. So take whatever is written as such.

BTW -- these are probably better as strain grow guides than a reviews, meaning if they say to top early, or that it's nute sensitive or that it needs a lower ph, then it's probably good advice. However, when they sing the praises of a strain take it as puffery -- like a car salesman. Just sayin' . . ..

The best of three volums, with the best macro-lens quality images.
New banks and variety seeds...you wont know which to choose.
Clear and detailed descriptions about flavour, smell, flowering time, indoor-outdoor enviroment, percent of sativa-indica varieties and more.
The best choice at a very good price.

An excellent, comprehensive encyclopaedia of the variety of marijuana available around the world. For anyone (especially here in CA, where medical cannabis is legal) who has access to purchasing pot, this is a serious guide book -- attractively designed, with ample color photos for identification of dozens of strains. Valuable and fascinating.

Ed sure knows how to construct books on Marijuana every book I have read from him is always very professionaly written with lots of killer pics. This book is no exception great color photos and great descriptions and several informative topics. A great read and a Great Buy!!!

This comprehensive collection of photos depict the final trophy product that many novice and professional growers strive for through hard work coupled with a splash of luck.
The Big Book of Buds, Vol. 3 is a must have, not only for reference, but as a wish book as well.

Good resource, with great color pictures. Lots of comparable information on the different breeds. Could use a better index at the end to compare/contrast. Very good book!

This book sheds a whole new light on any recent advances in breeding plants, new seeds, etc. I "highly" recommend it for anyone who wants more information on the seeds available and the medicines they contain.

There is alot of god info in between, and the book i a must if you have the first 2 books.

The "new" strains in the book could in my opinion have been better selected.
