I have fibromyalgia - one of the most important things I can do is exercise, but since my main symptoms are chronic fatigue and joint pain, it's hard to find something I can drag my butt out of bed and DO.

The exercises are all "floor work"; pilates usually involves big workout machines, but these are exercises designed to be done without them (her trainer is an old dude who actually studied with Josef Pilates). I do them on my bed instead of on the floor to make it easier on my joints.

The diet is based on the theory of "food combining", based on the fact that foods digest at different rates, so there are some things that should never be eaten together. After some research, I discovered that was their WHOLE argument - and is not supported by any studies at all.

Plus she talks about how you should give up eating meat - yet all the recipes include fish & poultry. She doesn't say "red meat" she said "When I stopped eating meat..."

Anyway, the exercise DVD is worth the whole price that I paid for it new, so if you can get it used, JUMP on it!
