The Marina Betta Kit Rock Ornament not only looks great in the tank, it also functions as a small playground for your betta. It's more fun than having just rocks or sand in the bottom of the tank. I bought this specifically because it looked smooth and not made out of some "lava-rock" stuff like a lot of aquarium ornaments. It is made out of that lava-rock stuff. It comes with the rocks glued into it. it is not a dark marble color as the picture shows. It is more of a flat gray color with a few streaks of dark gray. I do like the design, however. and it has hidden...

The Marina Betta Kit Rock Ornament not only looks great in the tank, it also functions as a small playground for your betta. It's more fun than having just rocks or sand in the bottom of the tank. This allows them to swim around, over, and through the rock formation. I've purchased two of these, one for each of my betta tanks. They love the rock ornament. Also, it is very easy to clean. Run warm water over it, wipe off any algae growth off with a towel/paper towel, and place it back into the tank...whenever you do a water change.

I bought this specifically because it looked smooth and not made out of some "lava-rock" stuff like a lot of aquarium ornaments. It is made out of that lava-rock stuff. It comes with the rocks glued into it. it is not a dark marble color as the picture shows. It is more of a flat gray color with a few streaks of dark gray. I do like the design, however. and it has hidden holes under the rocks to prevent air bubbles from being trapped in it.
