We bought this as a first aquarium for our household. All of the parts included have worked great, and the instruction book has been really helpful, from the set-up to the adding of fish. The bottle of starter is only enough to treat the aquarium once though, so you might want to order a second bottle (the stuff that adds the beneficial bacteria) for water changes.

There is no heater included either, so if you want to do anything other than goldfish you'll need to buy one. They aren't very expensive, so it's not a big deal, but I wish I had realized that before.

An excellent starter kit with almost everything you need to get started. I only added a heater because of our climate [winter in VT]. The frameless tank looks very nice, the pump/filter unit is A-OK, the tank top & fluorescent light are also A-OK. My granddaughter is really enjoying it.

I can't comment on the quality of this tank because it came broken. The fluorescent light was shattered and had pieces all throughout the tank. The hood also had one of the hinges broken off. It came in a box which was at least 18" too long with just some brown paper thrown in there. The product box was beat up and looked like it had been banging around inside the larger box. Also the listed dimensions are off. Instead of just replacing the two pieces, i was told that I would have to package everything back up and drag the whole box back to the UPS store

The filter is poor even with the speed turn up all the way. Had to remove 1 of the 4 brand new filters to get any decent movement. Never had a problem with other brands.

Beautiful tank, at my door in two days! Nothing broken, and has been working great since I set it up 5 days ago. I couldn't find a better deal online for the price.

i love my tank and my fish didn't love waiting for it so long but the results turned out perfect, need that spoonge bob decor.

When the tank arrived I heard rattling from the inside. I opened the package and found that the box the tank came in was damaged and one side looked like it had already been opened. When I opened the box I found the tank was broken and part were missing. Thanks Amazon.
